Paul 'Wakimani' Ogutu Opens Up on Ayeiya's Death and Demands for Compensation

Comedian Paul 'Wakimani' Ogutu has spoken out about the demands made by Ayeiya's wife after his death in 2017. According to Ogutu, Ayeiya's wife served him with a court order demanding KSh 21 million in compensation, claiming that he was responsible for her husband's death in a road accident.

Ogutu revealed that he had tried to make amends with Ayeiya's family but was unsuccessful. He also stated that the case was in court and had stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking about his personal struggles, Ogutu revealed that he had sunk into depression after Ayeiya's death and that his girlfriend of five years had left him. He also mentioned that his lawyer had informed him that Ayeiya used to earn KSh 300,000 per month, and that the family was demanding compensation for the remaining years he would have worked.

Comedian Ayeiya passed away in 2017 following a grisly road accident on Magadi road. He died when the vehicle he was in lost control and hit an electric pole.
