On July 14, 2020, the Alliance Francaise gardens in Nairobi hosted a virtual Bastille Day celebration, featuring Kenyan musicians Eric Wainaina, Muthoni the Drummer Queen, and Octopizzo. The event, which was held on social media platforms, was a unique twist on the traditional Bastille Day celebrations.

Eric Wainaina kicked off the concert with his famous hits, including 'Nchi ya Kitu Kidogo,' 'Daima Kenya,' and 'Ritwa Riaku.' He was followed by Muthoni the Drummer Queen, who performed hits such as 'Nai ni Who,' 'Million Voice,' 'Power,' and 'Suzie Noma.' Octopizzo was the showstopper, performing songs like 'Red Namba Plate,' 'Ivo Ivo Ivo,' 'Something for You,' and 'TBT.'

The concert also featured speeches from the French Ambassador to Kenya, Aline Kuster-Menager, and Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Heritage and Culture, Amina Mohamed. They appreciated the continued cooperation and partnership between the two countries, even during the tough times of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Fans who tuned in to the virtual concert were thrilled by the performances of the three Kenyan artistes. They took to social media to express their excitement, with comments like 'Eish that mask, Muthoni!!! Queeen,' 'Ka si hii corona sahi tungekuwa alliance!!!,' and 'King Octopizzo.'
