Published on July 15, 2020, Azziad Nasenya, the 20-year-old TikTok star, is making waves in the media industry. She is set to host a new television show, 'Concert Nyumbani', alongside media personality Mwaniki Mageria.
The show, which will air on nine TV stations simultaneously, is a musical celebration of heroes who emerged from the coronavirus pandemic. It will be broadcast on NTV, KTN, K24, KBC, Switch TV, Metropol TV, Y24, TV47, and PPP TV, starting this Sunday at 2pm.
According to the show's directors, Eugene Mbugua and Enos Olik, the show is a tribute to frontline responders and local community servers who have gone out of their way to help others during the pandemic.
‘So proud to be a part of this history-making appreciation show of our Heros who go out of their way for others.. Frontline Responders, local exceptional community servers, we salute you! …. Make a date guys!! Sunday is coming,’ said Mageria.
Azziad started her acting career in stage plays while in high school and later joined Hearts of Art theatre group. She is also a certificate holder in broadcast journalism from the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
This is not Azziad's first TV gig; she will also be hosting 'The Cook-Off' alongside comedian Mulamwa.
