Kenya Covid-19 Cases Reach 11,252 Amid Ongoing Pandemic

On July 15, 2020, Kenya's Health ministry reported 461 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total tally of confirmed cases to 11,252.

Of the new cases, 432 were Kenyans, while 29 were foreigners. The youngest patient in the new case load was one year old, and the oldest was 86 years old.

The ministry had tested 4,261 samples in 24 hours, taking the cumulative samples tested in the country since March to 225,495.

Health Chief Administrative Secretary Rashid Aman announced that 51 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, raising total recoveries to 3,068.
