As the number of Covid-19 cases continues to rise in Nairobi, the Ministry of Public Service and Gender has announced the temporary closure of Huduma centres in the city for fumigation.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the closure will take place in different dates across Huduma centres, with the first centre to be closed being Huduma Centre GPO on July 14, 2020.
Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe reported 189 new cases of the virus on Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 10,294, with 147 of the new cases coming from Nairobi County.
