Unlocking New Opportunities in Cryptocurrencies ¶
Kenya and East Africa are witnessing growing interest in cryptocurrencies, prompting Centonomy Ltd, a financial literacy institution, and Cryptobaraza, Africa's number 1 cryptocurrency learning and investing network, to announce season 3 of the Making Sense of Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies Program.
The program, set to kick off on July 31st, 2020, will be preceded by a 2-day Virtual Webinar series on July 16th and 17th. The webinar series, dubbed 'Unlocking New Opportunities and Why You Should Pay Attention to Cryptocurrencies,' aims to educate attendees on the benefits and opportunities presented by cryptocurrencies.
On July 16th, the first day of the webinar series, Centonomy and Cryptobaraza will partner with four leading community organizations from East Africa to explore new opportunities and challenges. The distinguished panel will feature Roselyn Gicira, Chairperson of the Blockchain Associations of Kenya, Kwame Rugunda, Chairperson of the Blockchain Association of Uganda, Norbert Haguma, Chairperson of the Blockchain Association of Rwanda, and Sandra Chogo, Co-founder of Blocktech Tanzania and Rwanda.
Michael Kimani, Creator of Cryptobaraza and founder of the Blockchain Association of Kenya, will moderate both days of the webinar series. On July 17th, attendees will get a taste of the Making Sense of Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies program, a hands-on program from highly rated instructors. All attendees will also receive a 'How to Avoid a Scam' guide prepared by the associations.
