On July 1, 2020, mass testing was conducted at Commission House in Nairobi, resulting in a worrying discovery.

At least 10 employees were found to have contracted the coronavirus, sparking panic among staff and officials at the Public Service Commission (PSC).

The PSC has since taken measures to contain the spread of the virus, but the incident has raised concerns about the preparedness of government institutions to deal with the pandemic.
