Vivo V19 Hits Kenyan Shelves

On June 24, 2020, Vivo Kenya launched the Vivo V19, a highly anticipated smartphone, in the country. The device has now been made available for purchase after a three-week pre-order period.

The Vivo V19 boasts a sleek design, featuring an Ultra O Screen with an in-display fingerprint sensor and an AMOLED screen. The device is available in two color options: Gleam Black and Sleek Silver.

The smartphone's dual front camera consists of a 32MP main camera and an 8MP super wide-angle lens, while the quad-camera setup at the rear includes a 48MP main camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP Bokeh camera.

According to Vivo Kenya CEO Arthur Xian, 'Having the device available in the market will now have Kenyans access our products at their convenience, which is in line with our vision of providing every Kenyan with affordable yet sophisticated devices with a great experience.'

The Vivo V19 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 712 processor, equipped with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, and features a 4500mAh battery with 33W vivo FlashCharge 2.0 technology, capable of charging the device from 0 to 54 percent in just 30 minutes.

As one of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers that has gained popularity in the Kenyan market, Vivo offers quality specifications at a lower price than other manufacturers, giving traditional players a run for their money.

Other notable Chinese smartphone manufacturers in the Kenyan market include Xiaomi, OPPO, and Tecno.
