On Fathers' Day, gospel singer Betty Bayo wrote a heart-warming message to Pastor Victor Kanyari, the father of her children, praising him as a good dad despite their failed marriage.
However, just a few weeks later, Kanyari made their family drama public, urging Bayo to move on and stop dwelling on their broken union.
He claimed that Bayo had other relationships before their marriage and should not keep focusing on their failed relationship.
"I have never been with a person I loved that much to make me fight for her to love me. When we separated, it's a decision we made so I cannot go back to her," Kanyari said in a direct message to Bayo.
He also denied allegations of violence, saying he had never been abusive or violent in their relationship.
"I never touched her. One day I came home angry and hit a picture on the wall but I never fought her. She can even testify to that," Kanyari said.
Bayo's messages to Kanyari had sparked a heated family drama, with Kanyari slamming her for not moving on from their failed marriage.
"Ukiachwa achika. Otherwise, depression is there. If she was not your destiny, then let her go and stop begging for their love. If she stays, it's okay," Kanyari said.
