On Monday, Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) boss General Mohammed Abdalla Badi and Parklands Ward Member of County Assembly Jayedra Malde repossessed a parcel of land in Highridge, Nairobi, where a building was being constructed.

Malde, who has been fighting to protect the land, which is worth Sh2 billion, has now threatened to resign as MCA.

"I am ready to resign as the MCA Parklands Highridge ward. I have fought for the Highridge clinic every single day and yet construction is going on," Malde said in a Facebook post.

He claimed that despite writing several letters to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), he has not received any help.
