On Sunday evening, Raila Odinga made a quiet return to Kenya, marking his return to the country after a period of time abroad.

According to multiple sources close to the leader, Mr. Odinga indeed returned to Kenya on Sunday evening.

Flight tracking sites revealed that the 10-year-old UAE-registered Airbus A318 private jet, which seats 19 passengers, landed at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at 9:49 PM on Sunday evening.

The jet, initially scheduled for a trip to Zambia on Sunday, was diverted to Nairobi, according to multiple aircraft tracking sites.

Interestingly, the jet had initially left for Lusaka on Sunday morning but was diverted back to Dubai while overflying Saudi Arabia, the tracking sites showed.

However, the jet was later diverted to Nairobi, where Mr. Odinga landed on Sunday evening aboard the luxurious Constellation Aviation Airline Airbus A318-112(CJ) Elite A6-CAS, MS4211.
