On July 13, 2020, the world lost a remarkable woman, Zindzi Mandela, the 59-year-old daughter of Nelson Mandela, the former President of South Africa and anti-apartheid icon.

As a young woman, Zindzi was deeply involved in the fight for freedom in South Africa, following in the footsteps of her mother, Winnie Mandela, who also left an indelible mark on the country's history.

Before her untimely passing, Zindzi served as the South African Ambassador to Denmark.
