Chelsea's search for a reliable goalkeeper has led them to consider replacing Kepa Arrizabalaga with Dean Henderson, a talented shotstopper from Manchester United.
According to reports, Henderson has been in spectacular form at Sheffield United, where he is currently on loan, and has helped the team secure a spot in the European qualification zone.
Chelsea's manager, Frank Lampard, has been underwhelmed by Kepa's performances this season, and the team is now looking to add reinforcements to their backline.
While Ajax's Andre Onana and Burnley's Nick Pope are also being considered, Henderson is reportedly Chelsea's top target.
However, Manchester United may be reluctant to sell Henderson, who is seen as a future prospect for the team, leaving Chelsea with the option of taking him on loan.
Sheffield United, who have been impressed by Henderson's performances, may also try to retain him for next season, adding another layer of complexity to the situation.
