As we go about our daily lives, it's easy to overlook the little things that make us who we are. But for some women, the way they dress at home is a matter of great importance.
According to Beryl Wanga Itindi, a woman's decision to dress up at home is not just about personal preference, but also about how they want to be perceived by others. In a recent article, she shared her thoughts on the matter, saying, 'I have never really understood how someone can wake up early, take a shower, dress up and even put on some makeup on days that they are not leaving the house.'
Itindi's comments sparked a heated debate, with some women defending their right to dress up at home, while others saw it as a waste of time. 'I think I am the worst-behaved in this sector,' Itindi confessed. 'You should see how, on such days, I drag my feet to the bathroom late in the afternoon.'
But not everyone agrees with Itindi's laid-back approach to dressing at home. Some women see it as a way to boost their confidence and feel more put together, even when no one is watching. 'I wake up early as usual on such days, take a shower, dress up in top-notch attire and even put on some makeup yet all I will be doing is walking around my house the whole day,' said one woman.
So, what's behind this desire to dress up at home? Is it about feeling confident and attractive, or is it about trying to impress someone? Whatever the reason, it's clear that the way we dress at home is a matter of great importance to many women.
As Itindi herself said, 'I salute all you women who looked all dolled up all the time. It takes commitment to do that.'
