Published on July 13, 2020, President Uhuru Kenyatta's development scorecard over the past seven years has been impressive.

From roads and land titling to electricity connectivity, health centres, security, and capacity building, the President's manifesto has been rolled out in every part of the country.

Notable projects include transport and communications infrastructure, learning institutions, and foreign policy development, which has seen Kenya sit on the United Nations Security Council.

Despite these achievements, the President's political team has been criticized for not effectively communicating these development agendas to the public.

Deputy President William Ruto and other politicians have been accused of being more focused on post-Kenyatta politics than on promoting the President's development agenda.

As a result, President Kenyatta has had to rely on Cabinet Secretaries, Chief Administrative Secretaries, and Principal Secretaries to explain the government's achievements to the public.

Fortunately, some Members of Parliament have taken up the challenge of explaining the President's development agenda in their constituencies and across the country.
