Published on July 13, 2020, Miguna Miguna, a self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, has been the subject of attention on social media after posting a photo showing his weight loss.

Some Twitter users noticed that Miguna had slimmed down and raised concerns about his health, with one user, AS Lamborghini, suggesting that he must have been exercising during the lockdown.

However, others were more blunt, with @Brayyyyo asking if Miguna was still fit to lead the National Resistance Movement, while @MarshieKM joked that he had 'konda' (lost weight) a lot.

Miguna responded to the concerns, clarifying that losing weight is healthy and that grey hair is a natural part of aging.

“Losing weight is healthy. Obesity which you consider signs of prosperity are symptoms of impending death from hypertension, diabetes, and other diseases. Any man above 40 has grey hair. Your looters paint their grey hair and beards due to lack of self-esteem,” Miguna retorted.
