On July 13, 2020, Kenyans took to social media to express their concerns over the weight loss of deported lawyer Miguna Miguna.
After posting a photo on Twitter, a section of users noticed that Miguna had slimmed down, with some even commenting that he was 'ageing fast' due to the grey hair on his head.
However, in response to his followers, Miguna clarified that losing weight is healthy and that obesity is a symptom of impending death from hypertension, diabetes, and other diseases.
“Losing weight is healthy. Obesity which you consider signs of prosperity are symptoms of impending death from hypertension, diabetes, and other diseases. Any man above 40 has grey hair. Your looters paint their grey hair and beards due to lack of self-esteem,” Miguna retorted.
