On Sunday, July 12, 2020, Kenya reported 379 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of cases to 10,105.

The new cases were identified from 7,050 samples tested between Saturday and Sunday, with a total of 215,037 samples tested so far.

Of the new cases, 376 are Kenyan citizens, while 3 are foreigners aged between 2 and 97 years old.

The cases are distributed across the country, with Nairobi reporting 209 cases, followed by Kiambu with 49 cases, and Busia with 38 cases.

Other counties with reported cases include Migori, Mombasa, Kajiado, Uasin Gishu, Lamu, Machakos, Nakuru, Garissa, Isiolo, Kericho, Nyamira, Nyeri, and Trans-Nzoia.

According to the report, 49 people have been discharged from various facilities, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,881.

Unfortunately, one person has succumbed to the coronavirus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 185.
