COVID-19 Cases in Kenya Reach 10,105, 379 New Cases Confirmed

Kenya's COVID-19 cases have reached 10,105 after 379 new cases were confirmed, with 185 deaths reported so far.

According to the Ministry of Health, the new cases were identified after conducting tests on 7,050 samples, bringing the total number of samples tested to 215,037.

The ministry also reported that 49 patients have recovered from the virus and have been allowed to return home, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,881.

The new cases have been reported in various counties, with Nairobi leading with 209 cases, followed by Kiambu (49), Busia (38), and Migori (19).

According to the Ministry of Health, the youngest patient among the new cases is a two-year-old child, while the oldest is a 97-year-old man.

"Among the new cases, 376 are Kenyans and 3 are foreigners, with 253 males and 126 females," the ministry reported.

On a positive note, the Ministry of Health has reported that 49 patients have recovered from the virus and have been allowed to return home, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,881.
