COVID-19 Cases Soar to 10,105 in Kenya

On July 12, 2020, Kenya's COVID-19 cases reached a milestone of 10,105, marking a significant increase in the country's virus tally.

Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced the latest numbers in a statement, revealing that 379 people had tested positive for coronavirus over the past 24 hours.

The new cases were confirmed from a sample of 7,050 tests conducted in the same period, according to CS Kagwe.

Meanwhile, the number of recoveries rose to 2,881, with 49 more patients being discharged from hospital.

Unfortunately, the death toll climbed to 185 after one more patient succumbed to the virus.
