On January 3, 2020, Zlatan Ibrahimovic signed a deal with AC Milan until the end of the season, with an option to extend for another year. However, the 38-year-old striker has now expressed his doubts about continuing with the team.

Speaking to Bosnian media, Ibrahimovic stated that neither he nor AC Milan belong in the Europa League, a sentiment that reflects the team's disappointing season.

"They told me that retiring in America was too easy, so I came back to Milan. I am here purely for passion, because I'm basically playing for free...Then the COVID-19 situation stopped everything and I thought, maybe there's something trying to tell me that I should retire," Ibrahimovic said.

When asked about his future, Ibrahimovic replied, "We'll see how I feel in two months. We'll also see what's happening with the club. If this is the situation, to be honest, it's unlikely you'll see me at Milan next season."

Despite his uncertainty, Ibrahimovic remains passionate about football and is unsure if there will be another club after Milan.
