On Sunday, a virtual funeral service will be held for John Keige, a prominent Nairobi businessman and owner of Jiweke Tavern and Bourbon.
Keige, who passed away on July 7, 2020, will be laid to rest on July 14, 2020 at his family's rural home in Muruka Kandara, Muranga County.
According to reports, Keige had finished his lunch and decided to jog but collapsed outside his gate. He was rushed to Nairobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Due to the ban on social gatherings caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the funeral will be a private affair attended only by family members and close friends of the deceased.
Keige is survived by his wife and five children.
