Kenya Airways has announced a fifth special evacuation flight to Nairobi for Kenyans stranded in the United Kingdom. The flight, scheduled to depart from Heathrow, London on Friday, July 17, will bring stranded Kenyans back home.
According to Manoah Esipisu, Kenya High Commissioner to the UK, the national carrier will operate the flight, which is expected to depart at 11am and arrive in Nairobi at 9:35pm.
Passengers will be required to undergo a COVID-19 test within 7 days of departure and will also need to quarantine for 14 to 28 days upon arrival at their own cost.
The Kenya High Commission has advised travelers to send a copy of their booking details, a COVID-19 free certificate, and a signed quarantine declaration form by Wednesday, July 15.
Travelers are also required to bring the test certificate and declaration documents with them on arrival in Nairobi.
