On Saturday, Babu Tale, whose real name is Hamisi Shabani, made a public appearance for the first time since the burial of his wife, a week prior.
As he returns to the public eye, Tale has been actively involved in politics, contesting for the parliamentary seat in Morogoro in the upcoming general elections.
He was accompanied by several artistes signed under Wasafi WCB, including Rayvanny, Zuchu, Mbosso, and their manager Sallam, at a recent event hosted by Tanzania's ruling party, CCM, in Dodoma.
The event was also attended by Tanzanian crooner Ali Kiba.
