Published on July 11, 2020, an intimacy coach and former escort, Samantha X, shared her expertise on identifying potential infidelity in relationships.
With years of experience working with men who were married, engaged, and even on their honeymoon, Samantha compiled a list of eight warning signs to look out for.
She emphasized that none of these behaviors necessarily mean someone is definitely cheating, but rather serve as potential indicators.
- Overcompensation through gifts or trips away, which may be a sign of trying to make up for something.
- Coming home with wet hair when it hasn't been raining, or being overly keen to shower as soon as they arrive home.
- Staying up late to watch TV, potentially to engage in late-night conversations or activities.
- Constantly taking their phone everywhere, even to the shower, and leaving it face down.
- Sudden changes in sex life, whether it's died out or become more passionate with new moves.
- Picking fights at home, telling white lies, or accusing partners of cheating.
- Expressing strong disapproval of infidelity in others, while secretly engaging in it themselves.
- Trusting one's instincts, as an unusual feeling that something is amiss can often be a reliable indicator.
Samantha previously appeared on a relationship podcast, warning that even lockdowns during the coronavirus crisis would not stop those determined to cheat.
