On July 11, 2020, Kenya's Ministry of Health reported 278 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 9,726.
The youngest patient is a one-year-old, while the oldest is 86 years old, according to Health CAS Dr Mercy Mwangangi.
Dr Mwangangi also announced that 99 patients have been discharged from various hospitals, bringing the total number of discharges to 2,832.
Unfortunately, three patients have died as a result of the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 184.
Nairobi leads the country with a total of 5,350 cases, followed by Mombasa with 1,722 cases.
Dr Mwangangi urged Kenyans to adhere to infection prevention control measures, including washing hands with soap and water, maintaining physical distance, wearing facemasks, and avoiding crowds.
