July 11, 2020, marked a significant day for Wafula Kizito, a security guard who had given Alvan Love, a former Tusker Project Fame contestant, a place to sleep after he was locked out of his house over rent arrears.
Alvan Love, popularly known as Alvan Love, had been homeless and destitute, but his fortunes changed after a viral video brought his plight to the fore.
With the support of Kenyans and TikTok fans, Alvan Love was able to turn his life around and recently opened up on his experiences.
During a visit to the security guard, Alvan Love asked Kizito what he planned to do in life, and the guard revealed that he had always wanted to get into the boda-boda business but was short of the capital to acquire a bike.
Moved by Kizito's story, Alvan Love bought him a brand-new bike and assisted him with acquiring the necessary documentations.
The bike has already been transported to the security guard's home in Kakamega, and Kizito has resigned from his job to pursue his dream.
Alvan Love also assisted the guard and his wife in opening a bank account and deposited some cash to boost their small business.
Alvan Love's act of kindness has inspired many, and his story serves as a reminder of the impact one person can have on another's life.
