Published on July 11, 2020, Kenyan singer Akothee has shared a shocking experience from her past, revealing that she once found condoms under the mattress of her first baby daddy.
According to Akothee, the experience was so tough that it taught her a valuable lesson: a man is not to be chased around.
She recalled that her baby daddy would often come home late at night, claiming to have gone out for a drink, but would end up at another woman's house in Mtwapa.
One day, Akothee decided to trail her husband's car and discovered that he was indeed cheating on her.
When he returned home the next day, Akothee found condoms hidden under the mattress, which she later discovered belonged to her husband.
Feeling helpless and afraid of losing him, Akothee said she became a shadow of her former self, crying and picking up the pieces of her broken heart.
