On July 11, 2020, Bishop Mercy Waciama, a Njata TV presenter, had her car number plates stolen in Nanasi estate, Thika town.
According to Bishop Waciama's Facebook post, the incident occurred when her vehicle's number plates, KCJ 294B, were removed.
“I have found the two number plates of my car stolen in Nanasi, Thika- KCJ 294B, kindly of you come across it kindly tell it to the police,” the Bishop said.
The theft of Bishop Waciama's number plates is one of the many cases of vehicle vandalism that have been reported in Nairobi and its environs.
Nairobi County police boss has warned those behind the syndicate, which operates in the area.
