On a day when many people are celebrated after their demise, it's refreshing to see legends being hailed during their lifetime. One such legend is gospel singer Alice Kamande, who recently received a heartwarming gesture from a fan.

Alice was thrilled to discover a Nairobi matatu with her face graffiti painted on its sides. The photo of the matatu was sent to her by a fan, and she was deeply touched by the warm gesture.

Her fans and other Kenyans joined her in congratulating her on the comments section, and it's clear that she was greatly inspired by the gesture. Alice is not the only Kenyan celebrity honoured by the matatu industry, known as Matatu Culture.

Most Kenyan matatus have been plastered with graffiti of local artistes' faces, with Moha Graphics being a prominent figure behind this trend. Alice's face is now among the many that can be seen on Nairobi's matatus, a testament to her popularity and influence in the music industry.

As TUKO.co.ke understands, Alice's story is a reminder that there are still many people who appreciate and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our legends, even during their lifetime.
