On July 10, 2020, Kenya confirmed 473 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 9,448, Health CS Mutahi Kagwe announced.
Speaking in Kilifi county during the daily coronavirus briefing, CS Kagwe revealed that the new cases were from 6,979 samples tested in Kenya in the last 24 hours.
The new cases comprised 324 males and 149 females, all aged between one and 90 years.
Regrettably, eight more patients succumbed to the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 181.
However, 76 people were discharged, raising the number of discharges to 2,733.
