Dr Adisa Lugaliki, a 39-year-old gynecologist at Nairobi South Hospital, tragically lost her life to Covid-19 on July 10, 2020.
Adisa, a devoted mother of two, was admitted to a city hospital just 48 hours before her passing.
Her colleagues and friends have paid heartfelt tributes to her, describing her as a fun-loving, outgoing, and hardworking practitioner.
Dr Adisa was known for her inspiring quotes about life, including 'One day you will wake up and there won’t be any more time to do the things you’ve always wanted. Do it now.'
She also shared another quote, 'Do everything with a good heart and expect nothing in return and you will never be disappointed.'
On March 10, 2020, Dr Adisa posted a photo with the caption, 'It’s a beautiful life…live it.'
