A disturbing incident of assault has been reported in Nairobi's Ummo area, where a sex worker was allegedly attacked by a client on June 29th.
According to reports, the client, identified as Leonard Yamuremye, had gone to the sex worker's residence with his friend, Risto, after a disagreement over payment.
The sex worker had allegedly agreed to meet the client at a lower rate, but things took a turn for the worse when the client allegedly assaulted her.
Witnesses claim that the client became violent after the sex worker refused to continue with the session, and he allegedly caused her bodily harm.
The sex worker was later taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and the incident was reported to the authorities.
Leonard Yamuremye has been charged with assault and is set to appear in court on September 13th.
