'I took you to hospital...didn't know I'll never see you again,' Dr Adisa Lugaliki's brother mourns

Dr Adisa Lugaliki, a renowned obstetrician, was the first Kenyan medic to succumb to Covid-19 pandemic on an unspecified date in 2020.

Her brother, Lenny Lugaliki, has penned a touching message to her reminiscing the last moments they spent together at the Kenyatta National Hospital.

He posted a photo of his sister accompanied by the moving tribute below:

"It’s the saddest morning. I’ve lost a precious Angel to me. I took you to hospital as we made jokes I didn’t know I’ll never see you again. Our life will never be the same without you. Rest with the angels daktari I’ll always love you."— Lenny Lugaliki

Other friends and colleagues, including One Drosophila Melanogaster and Nelly Tumbo, have also paid tribute to Dr Adisa, highlighting her exceptional medical skills and her impact on their lives.
