When we share our problems with our partners, we expect empathy and understanding. But what happens when they dismiss our concerns, telling us we're complaining too much or that our problems are too small to worry about?
One woman wrote to Brenda, feeling belittled by her partner's response. She felt like she was being told her problems weren't important, and that her partner's issues were more significant.
As Brenda so bluntly put it, 'A man who does not listen to your problems does not deserve your promises.' If your partner doesn't value your feelings and concerns, it's time to reevaluate the relationship.
Before he leaves you, leave him. You deserve better than to be treated like your problems are insignificant.
