Opposition leader Raila Odinga is currently recuperating in Dubai, but fiery activist Miguna Miguna has sparked a controversy by alleging that he is hiding and pretending to be sick.
According to Miguna, Raila Odinga has a habit of going into hiding whenever he is cornered, and this time around, he is claiming to be blind and sick.
On Twitter, Miguna wrote: “Conman @RailaOdinga is just hiding in Dubai and pretending to have lost his sight and gone blind but the truth is that he fears facing the reality that despot Uhuru Kenyatta has shafted him. He did the same and hid in New York in November 2017”.
His comments come at a time when Raila Odinga's health is in focus, with reports indicating that President Uhuru Kenyatta organized for a luxurious jet to bring him back home from Dubai.
Junet Mohamed, a close ally of Raila Odinga, responded to the controversy by affirming that Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho could afford the luxury and is not embarrassed about it.
“You right SC. We can’t afford to claim to be Fake HUSTLERS Kama wale wengine. Am traveling with the Sultan to see Baba. Asking who paid for the jet and you are traveling with the Sultan!!” wrote Junet.
