Kenya has reported a significant spike in COVID-19 cases, with 447 new cases recorded on Thursday, July 9, 2020, bringing the total number of positive cases to 8,975.
Among the new cases are 18 staffers of the St. Andrews Turi School in Molo, who have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, according to Nakuru Health CEC Gichuki Kariuki.
These 18 cases were part of the 23 coronavirus cases reported in Nakuru between Wednesday and Thursday.
