Inter Milan's Antonio Conte faced more frustration as his team missed a chance to reclaim third place in Serie A, with Verona scoring a late equaliser to hold them to a 2-2 draw on July 9, 2020.
Published on July 10, 2020, the match saw Inter Milan suffer a setback after Darko Lazovic gave Verona a second-minute lead.
However, Antonio Candreva levelled four minutes after the break, and Federico Dimarco deflected the ball into his own net to give Inter a 2-1 lead in the 55th minute.
But Verona's Miguel Veloso levelled for the hosts with five minutes left, securing a 2-2 draw for the team.
Inter Milan are currently fourth in the Serie A standings with 65 points, while Verona are ninth with 43 points.
