On a fateful day in July 2020, media personality Betty Kyallo had a harrowing experience while driving in one of Nairobi's busy roads.
She was driving towards a junction after the traffic lights had signalled for her to enter the junction when an ambulance suddenly zoomed across the road in front of her car.
Thankfully, Betty was able to ram on the brakes and bring her vehicle to a screeching halt, narrowly avoiding a freak accident that could have ended badly.
According to Betty, she had the right of way but the ambulance driver failed to yield, saying 'I had the right of way but that ambulance guy just came from a corner, I did not see him.'
One of the passengers in the car was left shaken, remarking 'That could have ended badly!'
