On July 9, 2020, Jubilee Party Nakuru Branch leaders put Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika and Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri on notice for fearlessly attacking President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Speaking during a funeral in Nandi County, the two lawmakers blamed the head of state for increasing police brutality countrywide and the leadership changes in the National Assembly and the Senate.

According to David Manyara, the Jubilee Party Nakuru Branch leader, the two lawmakers have been accused of continuously attacking the Head of State and the party leader, negating party principles.

Manyara stated, “This is the first meeting since the current pandemic hit us. We have discussed at length the conduct of Ngunjiri and Kihika who have been negating the party principles,”
