NBA Star Patty Mills to Donate Over Sh100 Million to Social Justice Causes

San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills has made a significant commitment to social justice causes, donating his entire salary from the NBA's restart to support important initiatives.

According to Mills, he will be donating $1,017,818 and 54 cents to Black Lives Matter Australia, Black Deaths in Custody, and the We Got You campaign, which aims to end racism in sport in Australia.

As reported by Spotrac, Mills' salary for the 2019-20 season is approximately $12.4 million, making his donation a substantial contribution to these causes.

Mills, a 31-year-old Australian, has been averaging a career-best 11.7 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.6 rebounds in 63 games this season.

The Spurs currently reside four games behind the Memphis Grizzlies in the Western Conference standings.
