"How Is It Your Concern If I Want Okari Back?" Betty Warns Idle Kenyans ¶
Former K24 news anchor Betty Kyallo has fired back at Kenyans on social media who have been criticizing her for rekindling her romance with ex-husband Dennis Okari.
Speaking to a local blog, Betty expressed her frustration at people's constant intrusion into her personal life, saying they should focus on their own business.
"So what if I want Okari back? Why can't Kenyans mind their own business? Seems we have a lot of idle people around," she posed.
Her comments come after Okari publicly revealed that Betty had been sending him sweet messages and nude photos at night, sparking a heated debate on social media.
Okari, however, clarified that he had forgiven Betty and was happy to co-parent their daughter Ivanna with her, even inviting his current wife Naomi Joy to join in.
"There is no possibility of us reuniting together, everyone knows that I have a lovely wife who I love so much. But for Ivanna, I will continue loving and supporting her," Okari said.
Despite the drama, it appears that Betty and Okari have put their differences aside and are now on good terms, with Betty even praising Okari as a wonderful father.
"Right now I've grown so much...the person who used to be Betty two or three years ago is not the same person I am today. There are things that we came to realize are very important about our lives; that it's not just always about us as adults," she said.
