On Wednesday, July 8, 2020, a search team was deployed to Lake Piru in California after actress Naya Rivera, 33, went missing. Rivera, known for her role as Santana Lopez in the hit TV show 'Glee', had rented a boat with her 4-year-old son earlier that day.

According to the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, another boater found the son alone on the boat at 4 p.m. The boy was safe, but his mother's whereabouts were unknown.

Rivera began her acting career at a young age, appearing in shows such as 'The Royal Family' and 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'. She broke through to wider stardom with her role in 'Glee', which she played for six seasons.

She married actor Ryan Dorsey in 2014 and gave birth to their son, Josey Hollis, in 2015. The couple split in 2018.
