On July 9, 2020, Zari Hassan, the Tanzanian businesswoman and mother of five, sparked speculation about her relationship with Diamond Platnumz, the Tanzanian musician, after she posted a photo of herself posing next to a new Bentley car.
According to Zari, her estranged husband had sent her a 'top-up', which she gratefully acknowledged in a social media post.
While Zari's caption, 'Asante Baba T for the top-up,' left many wondering if Diamond had helped her purchase the new car, others speculated that this was just another publicity stunt.
However, in a recent development, Diamond Platnumz has been actively engaging with his kids after a two-year absence, and has even started paying child support.
As Zari herself acknowledged, 'Two years down the line Diamond realised what his mistake was where his problem was and he said, he is not gonna let this continue and he decided to be in his kids' life. So he stepped up, why can't I give credit for that?'
