On July 9, 2020, a bizarre incident occurred in Kayole, Nairobi, where a matatu driver jumped from the rooftop of a four-storey building to escape a baboon attack.

Dickson Maina, a resident of Kayole, was on his rooftop when he saw a baboon approaching him. The animal's aggressive behavior prompted Maina to jump off the building in a desperate attempt to save himself.

Unfortunately, Maina fell on a wall made of iron sheets, which cut his finger, bruised his face, and broke his hand.

Fortunately, a crowd that was chasing the baboon away came to Maina's rescue and rushed him to the hospital.

According to Maina, the doctor told him that his injuries were not life-threatening and would heal with time.

However, Maina is seeking compensation for his injuries, which he claims will take time to heal.
