On a sweltering summer evening in Brighton, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah continued his impressive form, netting two goals to lead his team to a 3-1 victory over the Seagulls on July 9.

The win keeps Liverpool on course for a Premier League record points tally, with the team now sitting on 92 points after three wins from their final four games.

Salah's double, which included a stunning curler from Henderson, was enough to break Manchester City's record of 100 points from two seasons ago.

Brighton, who have been one of the most impressive teams in the division this season, showed impressive resolve to take the game to their illustrious visitors, but ultimately fell short.

Salah's 19th Premier League goal of the season moved him within three of Jamie Vardy in the race for the Golden Boot, but the Egyptian's two missed chances in stoppage time denied him a third Liverpool hat-trick.
