Woman Caught Cheating with Pastor Blames Husband ¶
On July 6, 2020, a Kakamega woman was caught cheating on her husband with a pastor. The woman, Jane Omwanga, 55, has since shifted the blame to her husband, claiming he was not fulfilling his sexual and financial obligations.
According to Jane, her husband, Josephat Omwaga, 59, was not satisfying her in bed, which led her to seek nourishment from the pastor. Jane claimed that her husband's constant insecurity that she was cheating on him also pushed her to actually do it.
However, Jane's husband has denied her claims, stating that he was not ready to forgive her for bringing another man to their matrimonial bed. He has since made it clear that he is divorcing her and plans to sell off the piece of land where their matrimonial home sits.
A cleansing ceremony was conducted by a section of Luhya elders on July 7, 2020, where Jane and her lover were instructed to offer a cow each, which would be used in the ritual.
