A woman from Kakamega has been left heartbroken after discovering her husband of 59 years cheating with a pastor.
According to Jane Omwanga, her husband Josephat Omwanga had been neglecting her for a long time, forcing her to seek comfort in the arms of the pastor.
Speaking to K24, Jane revealed that she had been suffering from depression for a long time and her husband had been of no help, both emotionally and financially.
She confessed that this was the first time she had ever cheated on her husband, and it was out of desperation that she turned to the pastor.
However, her husband was not pleased with the situation and has threatened to divorce her and sell their land.
Omanga has vowed to give his wife a divorce and sell their land, saying, "I have already informed my wife that I will give her a divorce, and later I will sell our land and then move on."
Following the incident, Jane returned to her parents' home in Khwisero, Kakamega County, where her family performed a traditional cleansing ritual to purify her.
The ritual, which was conducted on July 7, involved Jane and her lover offering a cow to be slaughtered and used in the ritual.
