On July 8, 2020, popular Churchill Show comedienne Zeddy spoke out against the show's favoritism and its impact on comedians' mental health.
She claimed that creative director Victor Ber's presence at meetings with Churchill and J Blessing intimidates comedians, preventing them from addressing their problems.
‘When we meet with Churchill, J Blessing and Victor Ber want to be present, and that’s why many fear to address the problems they face. Ukijaribu kusema hio shows utazionea viusasa; you won’t be given a chance,’ she said.
Additionally, Zeddy alleged that some comedians live beyond their means, leading to depression. She mentioned a comedian who hired a car every day to keep up with social media pressures.
However, Zeddy acknowledged the godfather of comedy, Churchill, for giving her a chance to showcase her talent on the show.
