Kenyan Man Drowns in River Tana While Filming YouTube Video

On July 8, 2020, a tragic incident occurred in Garissa, Kenya, where a 20-year-old man lost his life while filming a YouTube video with his siblings.

Abdullahi Mukhtar, a resident of Garissa, slipped and drowned in River Tana while shooting a video with his brother and sister.

According to County Red Cross Manager Mohammed Dubow, the body was retrieved from the river three days after the incident.

"We have been searching for his body since the first day with no success, but today we managed to retrieve his body and it is now with the family," said Mr. Dubow.

The family of the deceased declined to comment on the matter.

The incident highlights the risks associated with filming in hazardous locations.
